For most of my clients though, the paralysis brought on by analysis is due in large part because of an old-school mentality toward publishing – I’m still working on the theory here – but it seems like the call for perfection that powers the publishing of printed collateral – 50,000 brochures are going to last a really long time, it better be right – really doesn’t apply in this channel. My advice is always “Get us something so we can get the page indexed in Google.” It takes a bit of unlearning and trust to make that leap. To the well-trained ear, it simply doesn’t sound right.
