This is an oil painting I created while staying at our friend’s idyllic farm in Vermont, the summer after I was first widowed. I actually painted this during the same time period that I painted “Follow Your Bliss.” In fact, if you read “Follow Your Bliss,” you’ll notice my reference to my wonderfully cathartic breakfasts….after I had gotten my three children onto the daily, early morning bus to camp!
